Pet Sitting By Erin Evelyn is your peace of mind.  We understand that two of the most invaluable things in life are your family and your home.  We want you to have the confidence and comfort of knowing your pet is in the care of a pet specialist.   We follow a 25-point checklist during each visit to ensure the well-being of your pet and the security of your home. 

Because we value you as a person, our company is based around three basic philosophies:

                                                 OUR SERVICES

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION 

We will come to your home to meet you and your pet at a time convenient for you.  During our meeting, we provide you with the following:

  • References - which we do suggest you call
  • Vet Notification Form - to be used in the event your pet family member would ever need to be treated
  • Service Agreement -  which is very in-depth, providing us with all of the information we need to be aware of about your home and home security
  • Overview of Our Service, as well as our certification information
  • List of Supplies - for things we suggest you have on hand while you are away
  • Brochure - listing the many benefits of our service

DOG WALKING

If you work long hours at the office, or are simply unable to meet the exercise needs of your dog, we can walk, romp and play with him/her for you.  We'll follow your established walking route, and provide fresh water and food or treats at your request.  At the end of each visit we will leave a note card letting you know how the visit went.

AT-HOME ANIMAL CARE 

We will feed, provide fresh water, play with, administer medications, and check on your pets as often as requested.  Daily report cards or emails will be written for each pet that is cared for.  If you would like us to update you daily about your pet by phone, just let us know!

OVERNIGHT PET SITTING IN YOUR HOME

We will stay overnight in your home if requested.  This service includes feeding and playing with your pets, administering medication, cleaning the litter box, morning walk, bringing in the mail and newspaper, taking garbage to the curb, watering plants, and a detailed daily report card, email, or phone call. 

KEY SERVICE

If you anticipate using Pet Sitting By Erin Evelyn on a regular basis, it would benefit us both if we were to maintain a copy of your house key.  This type of service is complimentary to all of our clients.  Keys will be kept in a secure location and coded to protect identity.  If, however, you prefer that your key be returned after service is completed, we will return it at no charge for the first time.  Otherwise, there will be a surcharge to pick up and return your key.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN   

Emergencies can happen at any time.  The best way to protect your pet is to be prepared.  If requested, we can help you design an emergency and natural disaster preparedness plan suited to your specifications.

PET TAXI 

Whether you're away on vacation or working late at the office, if your pet needs to go to the groomer or vet, we're happy to escort your pet anywhere s/he needs to go.

HOUSE-WATCHING  

In addition to taking care of your pet(s) while you are away, our service includes giving your home a "lived-in" look.  Mail and newspapers will be brought into the house daily.  Drapery and lighting will be rotated.  Windows, doors, gates and fencing will be thoroughly checked at each visit.  If anything out of the ordinary occurs, we will contact you immediately.  If requested, radio/TV will be left on, the telephone will be answered, and plants will be watered.

SPECIAL REQUESTS 

We provide service for pets with special needs including administering oral and topical medication, assisting with recovery from surgery, handicaps, etc.
